I woke up this morning hoping that it was Saturday. NOPE! Definitely Thursday. *sigh* Oh well! I've done pretty well so far this week. No fast food and I've been on the treadmill every night, not to mention walking on the Canal during lunch break. I've changed my morning breakfast pattern to yogurt. I will say that I need a little more substance in the morning other than yogurt (good to know now) so I think I'll be getting fruit when I get groceries this weekend. Funny how something so little can get the ball rolling, you know? Well at least it's the ball rolling and not me rolling. haha!

Everyone's Talking About Change
So here we are, the day after the election and everyone is talking about change. What does that even mean!? Obama wouldn't stop talking about "change", and now I'm talking about it. haha No correlation between the two though. haha However, we both are now facing the consequences of all the talk about change. Now comes the time to actually make the change happen. I've been talking and talking about how I'm going to start losing weight, and getting motivated to get skinny. Heck, we even started a blog because both of us were so motivated. Somewhere along the way I forgot about my own campaign for change. So here I am, holding myself accountable. FINALLY! ha! I finally found the motivation I needed to get myself moving again. A 5K with my sis in the near future. If I slack, and don't run at all, I'll be walking for sure. But if I stick with it, she and I should get a very good finishing time. Heck, if I like it, maybe I'll think about a mini! HA! Now lets not get too ahead of ourselves here....but it's a possibility! So the laying around stops now! :)
